ENOC Group recognises employees at its Business Ethics and Compliance Ceremony in Dubai

Dubai, United Arab Emirates; January 8, 2018: ENOC Group honoured 34 employees at its Business Ethics and Compliance (BE&C) Recognition Ceremony, underlining the Group's commitment to uphold the highest ethical standards in the industry.
The ceremony was held to acknowledge the efforts of employees who have consistently upheld ethical practices at work, fulfilling the group's vision on its business ethics practice. The event was attended by ENOC's Group CEO, His Excellency Saif Humaid Al Falasi, the Business Ethics Committee and members from ENOC's leadership team.
His Excellency Al Falasi, said: "Ingraining strong ethical policies within organisations is not limited to only protecting company assets, but they promote a healthy and secure work environment. Through continuous training and development programmes at ENOC, we strive to empower, and embed in our employees, the required knowledge to help them understand the importance of upholding the highest ethical standards at work and what that entails."
During the ENOC Ethics Week - an internal event held annually to raise awareness on the company's Code of Business Conduct - a series of courses were conducted which included, a session on Board Members Conflict of Interest, the launch of gift and entertainment policy to help employees in making the right decision when providing or accepting gifts and entertainment to or from external parties on behalf of ENOC, a session by Group Human Resource and Group Environment, Health and Safety Assurance on compliance matters related to their disciplines and multiple sessions by an external speaker on Cyber Security and best practises in gift and entertainments.
Additionally, new e-learning modules were introduced to covers emerging ethics and compliance topics such as, anti-bribery and corruption, conducting effective investigation, fraud awareness, and privacy and information security.
