Underlining its commitment to the community, ENOC Group, a leading integrated global energy player, through its long-standing partnership with Beit Al Khair Society, is distributing over 10,000 iftar meals in addition to donating 1,000 gas cylinders from Emirates Gas to individuals and families in need during the Holy Month of Ramadan. This collaboration is expected to benefit more than 16,500 individuals and low-income families.
The partnership also includes the addition of digital screens at 255 service stations as part of Beit Al Khair’s Charity Campaign, where contributors can donate for Iftar Saa’em (AED15), Zakat El Fitr (AED25) and Kiswat Eid (AED100). Social media users can also participate using QR codes to donate.
His Excellency Saif Humaid Al Falasi, Group CEO at ENOC said: “Throughout the Holy Month of Ramadan, we are launching multiple initiatives to further improve our communities and contribute to the wider economy as a responsible business, and we are pleased to partner with Beit Al Khair Society for the seventh consecutive year in a row. This partnership reaffirms our commitment to society while playing a leading role in giving back to the community.”
Praising ENOC for its continuous support, Abdeen Taher Al Awadi, General Manager of Beit Al Khair, said: “Throughout its journey, Beit Al Khair has partnered with both government entities and private companies to support people and families in need. ENOC is an important partner for the society’s annual Ramadan campaign, which contributes towards sustainable development in line with the priorities set by the UAE’s wise leadership. The Group is donating 1,000 gas cylinders to families in need registered with the Society to ease their burdens during the Holy Month. In addition, the Group is supporting the Society’s charity campaign by encouraging donations across all ENOC service stations in the UAE.”
Beit Al Khair Society provides financial assistance to underprivileged families and individuals in the UAE through multiple programmes and creative initiatives. The foundation’s beneficiary categories include senior citizens, abstaining families, widows, divorcees, people with low-income, prisoners, people of determination, orphans, and students.
ENOC Group is also conducting several initiatives during the Holy Month including the Ramadan Aman campaign with Al Ihsan Charity Association, ‘Malabes’ an initiative that allows employees to donate old, used, and new clothes,” Kiswat Al Eid” with Emirates Red Crescent for donating clothes to 500 children and families in need internationally, Date Box distribution with Alokozay, and a Ramadan gathering for senior Emirati citizens.
