ENOC Group honours ‘heroes’ for fire emergency response efforts

- Service station staff recognised for controlling 100 per cent of fire incidents up to the fourth quarter of 2021 across its retail network
- Awards demonstrate ENOC’s commitment to ensure public safety at service stations, highlighting the Group’s robust HSE programme and Fire & Safety-related trainings approved by Dubai Civil Defence
Dubai, UAE; March xx, 2022: ENOC Group today recognised its heroes who helped control 100 per cent of fires up to the fourth quarter of 2021 across its retail network in an award ceremony that took place in the presence of Dubai Civil Defence.
A total of 24 heroes including 23 ENOC employees and 1 contractor were awarded by ENOC Group and Dubai Civil Defence for their contribution to firefighting and saving lives at ENOC service stations.
His Excellency Saif Humaid Al Falasi, Group CEO, ENOC, said: “At ENOC, the health and safety of our employees and customers remain our top priority. Our employees across all our service stations are trained to follow the highest health and safety standards and protocols to ensure public safety. By recognising health and safety efforts of our employees, we demonstrate our commitment towards ensuring public safety while also prioritising the health and safety of the workplace at retail stations.”
Recently, ENOC Group opened its first and one-of-a-kind emergency response centre in Jebel Ali Free Zone, as a part of its ongoing strategy and plans to protect its assets along with Dubai civil defence.
ENOC has achieved more than 60 million safe man hours on their local and international portfolio of projects from 2018 to 2022 that includes construction of oil storage terminals, pipelines, infrastructure and industrial buildings with associated high-risk activities involving handling of hazardous substances.
