Dubai, UAE; September 28, 2017: ENOC Group recently re-opened the first new branded service station at Oud Metha. The opening supports ENOC's expansion plans aimed at building 54 service stations by 2020 and comes in line with the Dubai 2021 Plan to become a smart and sustainable city.
The opening was attended by His Excellency Saif Humaid Al Falasi, Group CEO of ENOC, Zaid Alqufaidi, Managing Director of the Group's retail business, along with ENOC's senior management.

The new revamped 40,000 sqft service station offers customers several unique services which will ease their refuelling experience and decrease waiting time. Equipped with six double pump dispensers with extendable hoses on site, to enable refuelling from both sides of the vehicles. Additionally, the dispensers include a fuel system designed to have maximum flow rate as per National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) safety standards and a dedicated High Flow Dispensers for heavy vehicles.
Built in line with the Dubai Municipality's Green Build regulations, the station will feature several energy saving technologies such as LED lights; to reduce energy consumption by 50 per cent. The station also uses the Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) technology for the air conditioning (AC) system, which saves 35 per cent of energy as compared to the conventional AC system. The Vapor Recovery system uses a process to recover vapour released from the petrol dispensers and storage tanks and condense it back into fuel form and is expected to convert up to 20,000 litres of fuel.
The entrance and exit to the station is designed to implement the Roads & Transport Authority (RTA) guidelines for safe manoeuvring of vehicles, and reduce traffic on the exit road, thus easing congestion within the station. To avoid any environmental pollution and product contamination, the service stations will include UI certified double wall tanks and double wall fuel piping with secondary containment.
Equipped with 37 fully integrated digital wall displays on forecourt columns and convenience store entrance, customers will receive information on latest offers and promotions offered at ENOC service stations and ZOOM outlets.
Customers visiting the new site will also benefit from other retail facilities at the station; including ZOOM convenience store, Pronto, Autopro, McDonalds drive-thru and Popeyes. Customers at ENOC service stations can also use cardless/cashless payment options including; VIP's Fill & Go system, BEAM and NOL payment. Services available include DEWA bill payment, Salik top up cards and Du/Etisalat payments and recharge cards, FlyDubai tickets and credit card bill payments.
