Dubai, UAE; November 03, 2020: ENOC Group raises the UAE flag to celebrate the 2020 UAE Flag day. In adherence with safety measures and guidelines announced by UAE health authorities, ENOC continues to maintain strict social distancing; inviting the Group’s select senior leadership to hoist the flag on behalf of employees.

H.E Saif Humaid Al Falasi, Group CEO of ENOC said: “This day marks our unity as a nation; where citizens and residents celebrate our country’s achievements and resilience. Despite the challenges we faced this year, today marks a beacon of hope and a symbol of our country’s unity and sovereignty. As we come together on this momentous day to commemorate the accession of H.H Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, we will continue to follow in the footsteps of our visionary leaders who inspire us to persevere soar to even greater heights.”

Initially announced in 2013, by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, the UAE Flag Day signifies the country’s unity and sovereignty. During this celebration of the nation’s pride, UAE nationals and residents raise the nation’s flag on homes and buildings across the country at noon.
