ENOC inaugurates its largest service station in Saudi Arabia

Dubai, UAE, 5 February 2018: ENOC Group has inaugurated its 10th service station and the largest in Saudi Arabia in the industrial area of Modon in Riyadh, underlining the Group’s commitment to expand its network in the Kingdom.

Strategically located on Al Kharj Road in Riyadh, the new 16,000 square meter service station is the first to provide automotive services such as tyre and battery replacements by AutoPro. The facility has been built as per the latest environment-friendly building standards and features a spacious forecourt to facilitate smooth and safe maneuvering of vehicles.

The event was attended by His Excellency Saif Humaid Al Falasi, Group CEO, ENOC; Zaid Al Qufaidi, Managing Director, Retail, and Hesham Ali Mustafa, Executive Director, Shared Services and Group HR and New Business Development. The event was also attended by Eng. Ibrahim Bin Abdullah Al Humaidan, Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs Assistant for Technical Affairs, Chairman of the Rehabilitation Committee for Fuel Stations and Mohammed Alswailem, Branches Director, Modon, Saudi Industrial Property Authority.

With 10 fuel dispensers, two of which are for diesel, the station offers a comprehensive set of services including a food court, retail shops, a prayer room and ATMs in addition to ZOOM and Pronto outlets that provide organic products as well as two drive-through restaurants.  

The new service station adopts the highest international standards in Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) across all its processes and operations, and implements ENOC’s energy saving measures, such as a fully automated fueling system, modern technologies to discontinue pumping fuel when tank is full and an electronic fuel leakage detection system. It is also equipped with surveillance cameras and number plate recognition features to ensure the safety and security of customers.

All the cooling units in the new station use ozone-free cooling systems, while lighting is through energy-efficient and long-lasting LED bulbs of up to 50,000 hours of life. These lighting solutions help reduce energy consumption by 50 per cent in addition to cutting carbon emissions. Moreover, they require zero maintenance and provide safety against fire hazards.

ENOC Group plans to open more service stations in Saudi Arabia in 2018.
