ENOC Group, the official integrated energy partner of Expo 2020 Dubai, joined the celebrations of the ninth ‘UAE Flag Day’ as part of a call by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai, to celebrate the ‘UAE Flag Day’.

Like every year, ENOC Group organised a range of activities to commemorate ‘The Spirit of the Union’, underlining the Group’s solidarity to the nation, its culture of initiative and commitment to excellence. Following the safety measures and guidelines, as well as adhering to social distancing, ENOC Group raised the flag with select senior leadership on behalf of employees.

The ‘UAE National Flag Day’ marks the beginning of the UAE National Day celebrations, held on December 2, every year. Initially announced in 2013, by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, the UAE Flag Day signifies the country’s unity and sovereignty. During this celebration of the nation’s pride, UAE nationals and residents raise the nation’s flag on homes and buildings across the country at noon.
